poppi

Challenge
poppi had done the hard part. Explosive US success, genuine cultural momentum, a Gen Z fanbase primed and ready. For its UK launch, the risk wasn't indifference. It was anticlimax. When a brand arrives with that much hype, the real world launch either lives up to it or quietly deflates it.
The brief: make poppi's UK arrival feel as big as its reputation.

Insight
For Gen Z, brand love isn't built on awareness. It's built on experience.
This audience doesn't need to be told a brand is cool. They need to feel it. In a moment that's worth showing up for, worth capturing, worth sharing. Real world brand worlds deliver something no amount of digital spend can replicate: the social currency of having actually been there.
poppi didn't need a launch event. It needed a cultural moment.
WHAT WE DID

LIVE XP
Flagship Pret A Manger locations across London, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Manchester became fully immersive poppi brand worlds. Two days per city, building momentum as the tour moved.
PRODUCT XP
Live DJs, bold 3D builds and playful spatial takeovers turned the everyday Pret environment into something that felt closer to a pop culture event than a product launch. Sampling and giveaways put the drink directly into Gen Z hands. Exclusive merch turned trial into identity; something to wear, share and be seen with, not just consume.
DIGITAL XP
Every element was designed to travel. Shareable visuals, socially native interactions and culturally fluent design meant the activation generated content as naturally as it generated footfall. Extending poppi's reach far beyond the people who physically walked through the door.
RETAIL XP
This wasn't poppi showing up in Pret. It was two iconic brands creating something neither could have done alone.
RESULTS
Four cities. Eight days.
A product launch that felt like a cultural arrival, and gave the UK's Gen Z audience their first real-world reason to obsess over poppi.
