Barcode Festival 2026

Challenge
Four brands, one festival, zero shared context.
Lee Kum Kee, Vitalife, Biotiful and Kopparberg each came to Barcode Festival with a different problem to solve, with a different problem to solve, a different audience to win over, and crucial relationships to strengthen in a highly competitive space. A single festival footprint needed to work harder than a single brand ever would, holding four completely different objectives without any of them blurring into the next.
Quantum was tasked with designing and delivering four distinct activations across one site, each one built to change how a specific audience saw a specific brand.

Insight
At a festival, attention is fought for in seconds. Affinity is built in something slower, in what people feel, taste, wear and remember once the moment has passed.
That meant a stand was never going to be enough. Each brand needed its own world, built around what would actually make its audience stop, not a generic activation repeated four times with different branding. Lee Kum Kee needed spectacle. Vitalife needed stillness. Biotiful needed to make a serious category feel fun. Kopparberg needed people to leave wearing the brand, not just holding it.
Four different briefs, one shared discipline: build the experience the audience actually wants, not the one that's easiest to repeat.

What We Did
We designed and delivered four fully realised brand worlds across the Barcode Festival site, each with its own environment, narrative and reason to stop.
For Lee Kum Kee, we created an oversized theatrical destination that turned lunch stops into a festival highlight. Interactive karaoke and bold food theatre pulled people in and gave them a reason to stay, moving the brand beyond the sauce aisle and into genuine festival spectacle.
For Vitalife, we built a vibrant, retreat-inspired space designed to do the opposite of everything else on site. Immersive product trials and personalised affirmation bracelets gave a brand-new wellness audience, one with no prior awareness, a reason to pause, sample and connect, introducing Vitalife as a feeling rather than a product.
For Biotiful, we reinvented kefir for summer with a chilled, playful sampling experience built around ice lollies and easy conversation. It turned gut health from a topic people avoid at a festival into one of the most refreshing stops on site, proving a serious health message lands harder when it doesn't feel like one.
For Kopparberg, we combined ice-cold refreshment with custom, personalised temporary tattoos. The experience didn't end at the stand. Festivalgoers carried Kopparberg around the site for the rest of the day, turning every wearer into a walking piece of brand presence.
Four brands. Four worlds. One belief: the best activations don't just get seen, they get remembered, worn and talked about long after the festival gates close.
